A presence emerges from the surface of the tree — formed entirely by bark, knots, scars and the natural markings of the wood.
What first appeared as texture slowly became something more. I began to see an eye, a face, perhaps a figure looking outward. I was captivated by the sense of presence held within the tree.
Tree Spirit invites us to look beyond what is immediately visible and notice the forms, characters and stories that can reveal themselves when we take the time to look.
